This is the first rivnut tool I've ever used. It took a little bit to set up correctly & figure out how it worked, but once I did that it's been great! No complaints at all. I used it to install a tailgate storage kit in my LX470, and will be using it to install rivnuts in some body work soon.

I have a smaller version of this tool that I've used for years and it has worked just fine, but there are situations that call for a more robust, heavy-duty tool to ensure that the materials being fastened together are secure. So far, this Better Rivnut tool has lived up and works better in most situations where my smaller Rivnut just doesn't work well. So far I've had zero issues with this tool or the attachments and really like the carry case that keeps everything together and organized. This is a great tool that should last for many years of consistent use.

This tool works great so far. The one thing I will say is careful when opening it. A lot of the rivets are not exactly placed in a good position. It moves around and tends to fall out of the holder. The tool is pretty durable. It makes quick work at installing rivets and it is pretty much effortless. I found it works great for my restoration of a lot of different things from old cars to arcade cabinets. It is pretty easy to use. It is a big tool and requires you to use two hands at least but it makes quick work of the rivets. The installation is solid and I am able to continue working right away without worrying about the rivet coming part. In terms of the materials, I saw no issues with them. They work great so far. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. Overall this tool works great. It is durable and I have not seen issues with it breaking or the rivets not being installed properly. It is easy to use and does not require much effort. The only thing I found was that the rivets themselves roll around the case. The case could be better built but it is nice that one is provided to easily store all your tools on the go just be careful when you open it.

This is exactly what I needed to install a bus bar into a firewall. The tool is heavy-duty and does a great job of landing a nice snug fitting into metal. Great unit for my tool kit!

This tool works well for the small sizes. The handles need to be longer (or you need to be an olympic weightlifter) to squeeze down the larger sizes.They should have included a chart showing the size hole needed for each nutsert. I measured each with a digital caliper and included the measurements in my photos. You are welcomed!My kit came without the M10 "pulling nut" so my first attempt to install the M10 nutsert was unsuccessful. I then placed a m10 flatwasher between the puller and the nutsert and that fixed the issue.This kit is a great tool to have so you can install LED lights in locations where you cannot access the back of the bolt to put a nut on (such as square tubing). I suggest you get the set with longer handles.

The Better Metal Rivet Nut Tool seems to have a good solid build quality. I have been wanting to get one of these for a while because I'm replacing the rusted out floorboards in an old vehicle , and the seats are bolted to the floorboard with similar nut rivets. It's a pretty straight forward tool to use, and works well so far. I have no doubt that this is a quality tool, that was built to last. I'm happy to add this one to my tool collection.
