This was easy for my husband to replace on my mom’s ford escape. Her trunk quit latching and this seemed to be the issue. He said it was quick and easy to replace, this product was a great price and solved the problem. We are hoping it lasts a long time.

My trunk wouldn’t open for years (2010 ford escape) being a lady who doesn’t do much handy work I just got too lazy to try and fix it myself. Ford wanted $200+ last I checked (few years ago). Finally decided to get it done after having a baby and needing my trunk. My partner was able to do it and I “assisted” :D Anywho my trunk works now. This is a known issue with this type of vehicle. Wish I would’ve done this sooner + it’s super easy to do. Also check the fuse for the trunk, mine was bad as well.

Received quickly and in good order. Perfect fit and operation. Definitely recommended. (Gave 5 stars for ease of installation because fitment was quick, easy, and perfect; however, getting into the liftgate to get at it, no so easy!)
