If you're changing transmission fluid and filter on a Ford 6r80, it's not so bad just get a $15 fluid pump that screws onto the jug of fluid. You can also make it easier on yourself by drilling a hole in the lowest part of the pan to drain it with no mess and then put a plug in it. Pan gasket is reusable so you don't need to purchase one. My fluid and filter change took 6.25q fluid

This filter is not correct for 2010 Ford Expedition which has the 6R80 transmission. Reason is the transmission fluid pickup tube is shorter than the OEM filter. This means the transmission is more likely to suck in air instead of transmission fluid and cause the transmission to slip, which will potentially damage the transmission. Before you install the new filter, compare the old and new filters. Make sure the pickup tube is the same length. I was able to find the correct filter locally and have returned this one.
