I ordered these for my granddaughter, and they fit her perfect. She wears them all the time. A few months later, I order the same size, different color, from this same company and they were way too small, but it said it was the same size. Not sure if I would order from them this company again because I'm afraid of what size I would receive wouldn't fit.

My daughter loves butterfly shorts and these did no disappoint!They are well made, soft feeling and comfortable.They do have a long drawstring which is nice because it doesn't get lost inside the elastic waistband. It also has a pocket on the right side of the underneath shorts which is great!My daughter loves them!

My daughters love these shorts for dance.Great fit and true to size on the chart.Lots of stretch in them too so no need to size up if your questioning sizing.

These shorts are really cute! They are buttery soft and I love them. They are comfortable on and the dog is true to size. It almost looks like a skirt on cause they are flowy. Definitely worth the money.

My daughter wears these shorts all the time. They’re so soft and stretchy that she has asked for more. I got her a 3XS based on the sizing chart provided and it fit her. She is typically wearing a size 6. The tighter layer of shorts underneath means she can climb and play and still be completely covered.These would probably make for a great bathing suit bottom option for any preteen/teen girls wanting more coverage. They’re a dri-fit type of material.

Bought these for my 8yo. I probably should have gotten a size smaller. She's normally a 9-10 for size, but I got her the XS...my bad. But since it has a drawstring waist and she was too excited to wait, she's already wearing it. lol. She loves these shorts and says they are very comfortable. I like that they have little bike shorts built in so that nothing inappropriate shows.So, use the size chart...respect the size chart. lol. It is accurate. I think the idea of ordering her an XXS was what threw me. And these are great shorts and look really cute.

My girls LOOOVEE these butterfly style shorts & this pair is no exception. They are incredibly comfortable, silky soft & with the double layer they allow for full range of motion making them a great choice for sports/practice etc. The side pockets are convenient as well & nothing falls out of them. They wash well & haven't gotten that frayed edge that I've seen some other pairs develop- that being said, the material seems identical to those pairs & there's no seam/stitching at the edge so it could very well start after a few more washes.The one thing I really don't care for is the sizing. I find it needlessly confusing. The sizing structure is very familiar to parents but why not just have them run from XS - XL rather than 3XS - M? I have to believe that that causes issues when people are used to selecting specific sizes within the "girls" section.

My daughter has tried this type of shorts from a few different brands, and these definitely have the most comfy waistband. It doesn't squeeze or leave marks on her tummy. These type of shorts seem to run short and small, so I always size up. The 2-xs fit my 45" 44 lb daughter well. The sizing is strange and confusing, with 2-xs being size 8-10. Normally that would be called a medium, so definitely go by the numerical sizing. The material is smooth, flowy, and cool for summer. The high elasticity makes them easy to move in and ideal for active girls. This light green is very pretty and goes well with many of her shirts. The string in the waist was very long in these. My daughter came home from school with the ends hanging down her legs past the bottom of the shorts. I just removed the string because the elastic seems plenty sufficient for holding these up. My little girl thinks this style looks like a fancy skirt but fits and flexes like athletic wear.
