These products do what they say, and are indispensable if you are a committed vinylphile or old-time audiophile (that's me). I've been using these products since the were introduced at the beginning of the '70's decades, and I still have favorite records that sound new.

You will not find a better stylus cleaner. This is a lifetime supply. Made in a small factory in Livermore, CA. by Walt Davies, the nicest guy you will ever meet. He is an audiophile that also loves music. Been in the hi-fi business for decades. I use it before every record I play because when you play a record, you are really cleaning the grooves out with your stylus and so, it is necessary to get that gunk off your stylus before it builds up. Then you use the other bottle like a preserver to keep the wear on the stylus to a minimum. While your stylus is being broken in from new, use this as often as you can to improve the sound. The perfect brush is included to prevent damage that other larger brushed will do. A sideways action is all it takes, much more effective than the brushed you have to turn upside down and run the stylus from the bottom which merely separates the fibers and does minimal cleaning. Check out the Last Factory Youtube videos for a clip of the last factory making this magic elixar and bottling it. Quite the operation. If you have questions, Walt himself answers every e-mail. He is a scientist and will give you a factual answer and not some BS from a company rep. I have tried every stylus cleaner known to man since 1972 when I had an early Ortofon moving coil cart. mounted on a SME arm on a Thorens Turntable hooked to a Mark Levisnson Pre-amp running into some sweet sounding tube amps into a tri amped speaker system. I can hear the difference in sound and this is the best product for the job. It will LAST a lifetime so don't worry about the cost. Read the legitimate reviews and you will be convinced, if you want to keep your records in perfect shape - this is the product. Walt is a smart guy, The black lid is for cleaniing - the white lid, which is longer, is for stylus treatment to make your stylus LAST. Buy a simple audio microscope on Amazon and look at and inspect your cartridge to see how well this product works.Buy tthis product for $4.00 plus free shipping. Leegoal Mini 60x LED Pocket Microscope Jeweler Magnifier Adjustable Loupe for inspection purposes. And also, buy a Pro-Ject: Leather It Platter Mat to eliminate all electrostatic charges. You will be doing your cartridge a favor with this stable and soft record platform . and isolate your table with a Auralex Acoustics ISOTONE ISO-Tone Turntable Isolation Platform, 2" x17.5" because no vibrations will get into your operating stylus and prevent unnecesary damage to the cantilever mechanism . Also a curing mechanism will prevent needle drops and rough landing which will tear up a cartridge faster than anything. Clean your cart with the power off.

No other product like Stylast. Especially when used with Last treated records. Stylus cleaner is good, but others are probably as good. This stuff is expensive, but the little bottles will last (no pun intended) for years, if you don't spill it.
