Waste of money. Not strong enough. My 35 lb Aussie broke through in less than an hour. Thank god he spit out the plastic pieces

I purchased two very similar toys for my female medium size dog. I was going to return them because they didn't look strong but today i second guessed myself and gave both to my dog. Within minutes she had broke both and she was chewing at a piece of the broken plastic.

After 18 days, my 6 month female German shepherd broke it apart. Normally I would praise Kong. Not this product. Please think twice before purchasing this product.

We have two Caine Corso puppies that are going through their chewing phases. Nothing lasts long for them. These bones did last almost three weeks so that was a significant improvement from the day or two it has taken them to dip apart other toys or bones. The only thing I didn’t like was the green rubber/plastic coating will get chewed off and I get nervous the puppies will swallow it. They are notorious for hiding things in their droopy lips and we often have to go fishing to pull the particles out of their mouths. That is when we will toss the toy as it’s not worth the headache of the small chewed up pieces. For a comparison, the puppies just turned five months and they are about 45-48 pounds each. Since the original purchase have bought these bones three more times.

I have a 10 month old Sheltie/Rat Terrier who's mission in life is to chew everything he can wrap his jaws around. He has destroyed all his furry toys, de-stuffing them & turning them into rags in days. I've had to sew some of his favorites several times, performing "surgery" on them upwards of 10 times. I've bought him other Kong products, including the tennis balls...which he's torn the yellow covering off of it & made it bald (the squeaker still squeaks though). When I saw the reviews on this bone, I hesitated from buying it, as I saw the pictures of the chunks torn off of the bone by other aggressive chewers. But, I liked the name-brand, and I liked the ridges on it where I could spread a little peanut butter on it for a treat. After I bought it, he wasn't that excited about it. It sat on the floor for over a month. Other than him licking off the peanut butter, he let it sit. The last couple of days now, it's become one of his favorite things to chew. He has it under the table & gnaws on it several times a day. I keep an eye on it to make sure he's not chewing pieces off of it. Every day now, I put it in his bed where he naps. He'll chew on it for several minutes, then either leave it for later, or carry it under the table, where he'll continue to chew on it. I'm hoping this will now be his go-to whenever he's in the mood to chew, thus saving our carpet, wires, fabrics, cushions, and anything else that catches his fancy. I had German Shepherds that didn't chew this much. He's a machine! I'll make sure I get a picture of it before he destroys it to show that little dogs can stand with the big dogs in the business of chewing & destroying. For now, I'm very happy with it in keeping him occupied for more than 10 minutes.

Ossos de náilon não são ideais para o cão que tem uma mordedura muito forte, pois podem acabar machucando ou até quebrando os dentinhos do animal. O ideal é um brinquedo de morder que, na hora que você faz o teste de comprimí-lo com o polegar, ele afunda alguns poucos milímetros. Essa imperceptível flexibilidade faz toda a diferença, e é isso que este produto da Kong oferece. O cão adora, e será entretido satisfatoriamente, pode apostar. A minha vira-lata Loulou, que adotei de uma feira de resgate há pouco mais de quatro meses (calcula-se que ela esteja com menos de um ano agora) brinca com o seu o dia inteiro. Ou seja, aprovado e homologado pela mais alta autoridade!
