The color is really a navy pearloid rather than black, so these are only getting 3 stars from me.The guitar these are installed on will be stained a deep blood red soon, so I am hoping for a decent color coordination.They are in fact a good metal foil sticker, and as they wear in, it is apparent they will look better. This material also indicates they should last a very long time, even if you are a shred and sweep player like myself. I do a lot of bends and vibrato, and unlike most shredders, I do press hard relative to blues players or even relative to when I play an acoustic.I am also considering a flat clear coat finish for the rosewood appearance Jatoba fingerboard, and I'm sure if it's done well enough, these will appear to be genuine inlays without scrutinizing inspection. Maple fingerboards are commonly sealed with a clear coat ;acquer, and in some cases, I've inspected them greatly and suspect what passes 100% as an inlay is in fact a very well installed sticker. It seems they even route the sticker outline before installing and lacquer sealing.One final detail to regard.A more traditional style like blocks or shark fins would be less obviously stickers. They won't get long and deep looking from someone viewing the instrument from a few feet away.These are being installed on a high end, low budget priced IYV neck through super stratocaster, and the overall look of quality to this guitar does unfortunately suffer from the fact that they are obviously stickers, but am also confident wear will make it far less noticeable.I am likely to clear coat the fingerboard in a flat finish for both appearance and longevity.I must also close and say I would purchase these and other styles again.

They dont stick n they are lumpy..i had to cover with polyurethane... either do it tje right way or save ur money..

Arrived in a timely manner, good packaging, instructions included a link to a video that made applying them quick and easy. I recommend removing the strings and neck from your guitar for even easier installation.

I was looking for stickers on my specialized and came across these. They go on my bike like a charm. Not sure if they'll last the rain but they weren't intended to. Presently they look sick! Goes on easily and yet sticks very hard to my Racerstape protection film. Love them! The quality and design is superb as well. =)
