Having tried several other dog treat toys where you hide treats inside the toy for the dog to find and enjoy I was a bit apprehensive about this one when ordering. My misgivings were totally unjustified. The toy the treats are placed in is well-made of a material that will stand up to a dog's chewing and gnawing. The treats are placed through a screw-on cap that is easy to use and contains the treats.Best part is the type of treats it uses. You make your own! Included was a 3-compartment silicone mold. Fill each recess with kibble, small treats, pieces of meat, sweet potatoe,...whatever. Add some chicken, beef, vegetable broth and freeze for a couple of hours. Pop out one of the frozen blocks and secure it in the toy. Kept our Aussie busy for over an hour. One thing to consider: You might want to give this to your pup outdoors or on a hard floor. As they lick the exposed portion of the frozen treat block it will melt and you probably don't want the frozen broth on your carpet. Or even on the dog's bed. This is our new favorite treat toy for our pup!

So, an interactive toy for large breeds? Then they show pictures of this toy with poorly scaled images of medium sized dogs. If a manufacturer claims their toy is indestructible, my dog takes that as a challenge. She seemed to really like the toy, and actually preferred just chewing on it than licking the frozen treat. I gave her frozen yogurt with blueberries and a couple of small treats inside. I also tried putting peanut butter in the end cavities and that lasted all of 30 seconds. I’m better off putting PB inside a Kong for her, at least that lasts 10 minutes or so. The end cavities are actually quite shallow and pose zero challenge for the dog. The pictures show how it fared for maybe 30 minutes with my 95 pound malamute. She didn’t destroy it in the first sitting, but it will be interesting to see how long it lasts. The toy itself isn’t that big. If she picks it up in her mouth, half of it disappears. I wish there was a larger size available that’s truly made for large breeds. It’s just big enough that I’m not concerned about her swallowing it but I’m also not sure if I’m comfortable leaving this with her if I’m not supervising. The frozen treat cup seems smaller than say a frozen ice cream-like treat that’s sold in most stores. I also have to hold those cups, because she’d eat the paper or plastic cups the treats come in.

Seems like a durable toy for our dog who likes to gnaw on hard toys. The treat tray doesn't make very much at a time (3), but it's a nice option to be able to add it to the toy for added interest and an extra benefit for our pup.

My dog LOVES this! He's a big chewer and loves different textures, and he will chew on this consistently over most other toys. The silicone mold to make your own fillers is a little tough to get the treats out of after freezing, but it makes a great size treat ball for it and is very easy to clean. This toy holds up too!

Innovative way to give my large German Shepherd a treat he won't finish instantly. He enjoys the frozen portion and I like the mold which is enclosed to make several frozen treats at once. He will chew on it if I have peanut butter in the ends but as soon as he has cleaned everything out, he's not interested in just chewing on it. He loved the big bones I bought but the vet discouraged this as it was hard on his teeth. I thought this, being a hard material, might be something he could enjoy. It does allow him to spend some time chewing on it to get all the treats out which is a good thing. He does like it and is excited when he sees me filling it up.

I got this log-shaped chew/dispenser/therapy tool (the product title reads like a doggy resume) with exactly one goal: stuff it with something cold and delicious and let the dogs have at it. Nothing else. Seems like a good value for the money, but I would be surprised if a dog could destroy it.I mixed up a quick blend of yogurt, canned pumpkin, and peanut butter, no culinary finesse required, and froze it overnight. The next day after work, I handed it off to my German Shorthaired Pointer, who immediately locked in like it was the canine version of an escape room challenge. LI eventually bought a second one (different brand, same design) for the beagle, and truly, the dogs couldn’t tell the difference. Both were thrilled. Licking, pawing, focused like tiny snack-hunting machines. The toy itself is impressively tough, feels like it could survive a lawnmower, and the hollow design makes it easy to load and even easier for them to grip while lounging like kings and queens on the carpet. It feels heavy like cement.Bonus: it doesn’t roll away constantly like some treat toys, so your dog won’t chase it under the couch every two minutes.I’m not saying this is going to cure anxiety or teach your dog mindfulness, but if you want a low-effort way to keep them cool, calm, and temporarily obsessed with something other than barking at the window, this worked great for me.If you’re someone who needs a break from the heat, it’s worth the time to try it out.

My dog couldn’t be happier with his new toy! I’ve been freezing his favorite treat, pumpkin puree, in the molds, which makes him incredibly excited. This toy is great for nervous dogs as it keeps them busy and distracted for long periods of time. I love that it’s made from safe materials, doubles as a teeth cleaner, and is dishwasher safe! This is a must have for dog parents!

This toy is fantastic! My dog loved the frozen treat on a hot day. he is a pit bull so a strong sturdy toy is a must for this power chewer and this toy definitely comes through. The freeze part is big enough and the opening is a perfect size he stayed busy with this for about 20-30 mins so when he was done he was also tired. And a tired puppy is a happy puppy! The locking part is very strong but is also easy to get on and off and the freeze cubes fit perfectly. I know this toy will last for him money well spent. The only down side is it is very heavy, so if you have a dog that doesn't like to carry anything heavy you may have to place it where they will enjoy it.
