For these ocean drums to really give you a big wave its helpful to have a bigger drum. This one sounds nice, but you have to have a lot of control and really slow the beads down.

I love this ocean drum! It's small and portable. It got nice weight to it from the metal balls inside. It's so cool to sit with it for a while and get a pattern down and learn to move it super slowly. It really does sound like waves. Crazy cool, great gift too (keeping mine!).
