To keep from transferring grease/oil from my skin to the guitar top, I usually wear a terry sock with the end cut off on my forearm. I also wear it to avoid that sticky feeling when my arm is pressed on guitar. This Henry's guitar sleeve serves that same purpose and looks a lot cooler than wearing a sock on your arm. However, with my guitars with a nitrocellulose finish, I'm unsure if this sleeve is safe to use with them. Nitrocellulose is relatively fragile and reacts negatively with a lot of materials. This sleeve is 92% polyamide which is a synthetic material. Difficult to say if it's nitro safe. I'll likely stick with the sock for sock for the nitro finished guitars and used this sleeve only for guitars with a polyurethane finish. It's also worth mentioning I have fairly skinny arms and found the top of this sleeve to be a bit tight on my bicep.

Two sleeves are included but you only need to wear on your strumming arm typically. There are times when you are wearing a short sleeve shirt and your arm sticks to your guitar or you just want to keep the guitar safe. The sleeve fits well and can also help with muscle soreness. I would like to have this in black or other colors if possible. Love this addition to my accessories

Nice tight fit that covers my whole arm. It doesn't have any seams either. Best fitting arm sleeve I've found.
