The old vent covers were brittle and yellowed by the Sun, They both cracked at the hinges (plastic) during use this year, and even broke some more while cleaning with a soft brush.I replaced the center vent with an expensive Maxxair Deluxe, but decided I didn't need to spend a lot of money for the forward bathroom vent. The Henges/Hensen vent cover was a perfect inexpensive fix. Very easy to install.Only need to remove two machine screws that hold the actuator arm to the lid, then the lid is open fully all the way and removes from the metal clasp hinge section. The new vent installs in reverse, and came with a brand new actuator arm and screws .This is an very easy to do owner repair. The only difficult part is safely getting on and off the roof.

This product fits perfectly on a 2000 Sundowner ValueLite horse trailer. It was easy to install, although I did need to climb onto the roof of the trailer. It took me longer to grab my ladder and set it up than it did to install the cover.

I got these to replace the yellowed UV-destroyed vent covers on a 2014 Minnie Winnie. They were simple to install. Just pay attention to the way the arm from the crank handle goes into the slot. There's a keeper that must go in to keep the tension on the arm so it won't jump out. I suggest taking a photo of it before you take it apart - I did it the hard way and had to cheat off of another one. Unfortunately I ordered four with a right handed arm and it shouldv'e been a left handed. It buffaloed me for a minute until I figured out to use the arm off of the old vent covers. The snapping of the plastic lid is scary but it's tougher than it looks (thank goodness). Then I installed the MaxxAir covers on top of them. Should be good to go for a few more years.

Installation was a problem, the cover did not fit the hinged area in the vent frame but it seemed to match what was left of the original cover of the same brand. After carefully trimming the three slots for the hinges it finally fit and the installation was completed.
