I can't tell you how happy I am. I ordered this product a two weeks ago and it hadn't arrived, despite amazon telling me it had. I sent an email via Amazon to the company and they sent a new one to me. The quality is excellent and fits the purpose. I will no doubt buy it again in the future for hanging another mirror.

Was able to use this to hang a very heavy mirror in my bathroom where there was no stud in the middle of the mirror to screw into. This made it easy to get it hung in the perfect spot and is super sturdy.

I used this hanger instead of the one that came with the mirror that i had purchased, because it was a better design. This bracket comes with the fasteners, and a handy level that slides into the middle of the wall side hanger, so there is no need to get a level to get it straight. The only negative, is that both brackets arrived damaged. I was not a big deal to straighten both of them out. Easy to hang once brackets are installed. Just take whatever you are hanging, go above the wall side hanger up against the wall, and drop it down and you are in. No wires to worry about. Nice and easy!

My wife had the beautiful mirror sitting on the floor in the corner. It's very large, quite heavy, and where she wanted it, hangs sideways. What to do? I guess I could reposition one of the hangers and measure the crap out of everything to figure out where to place a couple drywall anchors. Then I was surfing Amazon and found this! The walldogs are the most amazing drywall screws ever invented. Mounting the bracket on the wall was quick and easy. Mounting the other half to the mirror was just as easy. Now I don't have the try to wrestle this giant mirror while aligning 2 little screws behind it with 2 little eyelets on the back that I can't even see. A two man job became a very easy one man job. I'm also not sure I would trust all that weight on two drywall anchors. Now it's onNINE Walldogs, spread evenly across the load. This was an amazing invention! I'll be sure to buy more of these when I have large items to hang. I should mention, the mirror has a beautiful hardwood frame. That's what the other half of this attaches too. It comes with a bunch of little wood screws. I drilled small holes into the wood, making sure not to drill too deep to drill through the front! I have nine screws in this part as well. It's very solid.

I used the longer version to install a fairly heavy 60' wide headboard (about 50 lbs.) and even though the product feels very light-weight, it seems to hold the headboard securely and I have no concern about it falling. It was easy to install, the included level was spot on (I double-checked it with my own longer level, and the multiple drilled holes made it easy to ensure that it was screwed into two studs. The only concern I have is that in an earthquake, there's nothing to prevent the headboard from being dislodged from the track and landing on my head. In a high-traffic area or with active children running around, you'd have the same risk of the item being jostled enough to do the same thing. I've installed a shelf directly above the headboard, screwed into both the headboard and the wall, to prevent that, and if you didn't want to do that you could probably install braces above or below the hanging item to prevent upward movement. But this problem is true of most methods of hanging heavy items on the wall, so it shouldn't be considered a defect in the product. One star taken off for the price, which seems way too high for what the product consists of.

I used this to hang a large mirror in my dining room. 4' x 30" mirror to be exact. The mirror is pretty heavy so I knew I didn't want to be messing around with guessing if I had it hung level or centered on the wall, or if the original wire hanger would even safely hold it. I attached one rail level on the wall to the studs (there are many mounting holes so you should be able to hit at least two studs when hanging it). Centering it left and right on the wall does not need to be exact, that's where this really is excellent. I just put it level about in the area I wanted it making sure I hit at least two studs, one on each side. Then centered the other rail on the back side of the mirror and lifted the mirror up to the wall hooking the mirrors rail overtop of the rail on the wall and voila! mirror is very securely hung and level and I can slide it on the rail quite a bit left or right to get it centered where I want it without having to move wall anchors, or compromising it being safely hung. I would just warn you not to move it too far left or right, obviously it still needs to have most of the two rails connecting to safely keep your item on the wall.

I just finished redoing a family room in my 1930s era home. The plaster walls needed a lot of work, and although not perfectly straight/flat they have a certain old house charm. That being said, it was time to rehang a number of framed photos. I hate hanging any quantity of picture frames because of all the measuring, leveling, and arranging, it's a lot of work and frustration. My solution was to consolidate 21 4" x 6" photos in a 18" x 47" collage frame purchased locally. I was able to easily hang the framed collection horizontally within 20 minutes. The biggest issue was pondering how high up on the wall the whole thing should be.I was very lucky to have two of the wall bracket holes match up with wall studs. (Somewhat surprising for a house built during the 1930s) I expected to have to drill at least one hole to get two screws into studs. The matching brackets allow for considerable lateral movement; in my case about 1 1/2" to center the frame on the wall. Because the bracket(s) thickness move the frame away from the wall a bit it actually worked well for the old (not perfect) plaster walls. All that was needed was a few 1" felt chair leg pads stuck to the back of the frame at the bottom to compensate and to protect the wall from scratches. The bubble level insert is a great idea, and the Walldog screws went in easy and held fast. There are cheaper ways to hang large frames and mirrors, but this method is the best I've ever used.I expect to be buying the 18" version next.
