Great quality. I’m 5’11, 208lbs. I went with an XL. It fits very tight. If I gained ~15lbs, I’d likely have to size up to an XXL. Hope this helps.

Gold BJJ gear is great quality and value. I have several of their rash guards and shorts in rotation. This particular rash guard feels comparable to some of the higher end brands such as Future. Have used it in about 10 BJJ sessions already and there's no wear and tear. I have no doubt it will last years. If I have one gripe its that I usually wear a large in most brands. I found Gold's large to be very tight. I have to wear XL in Gold BJJ. Seems like they run small. Overall execellent quality gear.

If you're like me this is the 1000th review you are reading trying to find the right style and size grappling gear for your kiddo. The kids size options are limited and the adult sizes seem much too large. However, I decided to give this a try for my avg size 11 year old and the XS worked great at competition this past weekend. It is a little long but he just tucks it in and is happy that it doesnt ride up while he is fighting. The sleeves are also a little long but still stay tight at the wrists and not so long they are super bunched up on the arms. He said its comfortable and not too hot. Its holding up well through about a half dozen washes, practices and a comptition.

I normally wear a medium. I bought a large. I could barely get it on it was so tight around the torso. Once I got it on though, I noticed the high quality fabric and the flexibility of the sleeves and mesh underarms. But the torso is just way way too tight. Tempted to go a size or two up, but that would add significant length to the sleeves and cause a lot of bunching. Unfortunately I'm going to need to return it. Really hope the sizing gets figured out because I would love to try it again based on the material quality and overall thoughtfulness of the construction.Average body type, 5'11, 180lbs

Gold is an awesome company with top notch customer service and high quality products at fair prices, but this rash guard didn’t work for me. I am just shy of 5’10” and 175 lbs with a mesomorphic body type. I tried this rash guard in a large and extra large and both were too tight on my trunk. As far as aesthetics are concerned, it looked really cool, but the neck hole was a little wide for my taste (showed a little too much collar bone). As far as quality is concerned, it was definitely better than your standard Under Armor / Nike compression shirt, but not quite as soft and thick as my Grips rash guard. Definitely good quality for the $35 price though. I will continue to keep gold BJJ first on my list when shopping for BJJ products, but this rash guard just didn’t work well with my body type and personal preferences. I may have a completely different story if I had a little more slender trunk and/or preferred tight rash guards.

I use this for BJJ (gi and no-gi), and it has performed well so far. No loose threads, annoying seams or other obvious flaws. The length of the torso and sleeves fit well for my reasonably tall build (6 foot, ~190 lbs), and I haven't had any issues with this rashguard riding up.
