The last place you want to find out about the product is when you already dropped the pan. BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND! Try to make it short; The Bad 1.generic box 2. wrong size o-rings 3.gasket does not hold screws to align things. The Good was able the use the thing, but had to use the old o-rings (filter has to make a good seal).

Fits my 2001 ranger edge rwd with 4.0 engine. No problems. The only thing I didn't like was the new bolt has a different size head so I just reused my old bolt. The bolt provided could be used but you'd need to find another socket.

Fit perfect on my 1997 ford ranger 2 wheel drive. Came on time no issues. Truck is driving and shifting great.

The gasket is well made and accurately cut, and the new bolt is a nice touch. The filter does not have the extension to reach deep into the bottom of the pan.
