I had this lingering stale smell in a large basement area, kind of a mix of dampness and who-knows-what from years past. Tried a few things, nothing really knocked it out. So, I picked up this CREWORKS ozone generator.What I like is its raw power. This thing is rated for 35,000 mg/h and claims to handle up to 3200 sq ft, and I believe it. I set it up in the basement, put the timer on for a couple of hours, and cleared out, because you absolutely have to vacate the area when these things are running – pets too. That’s not really a dislike, just something you gotta do for safety with ozone. After it ran and I let the area air out for a good while, the difference was night and day. That persistent funk was just gone. The air felt clean, not perfumed, just neutralized. The adjustable settings are straightforward, so it's easy to dial in the time you need.I’m giving this a solid 5 stars because it did exactly what I needed it to do, and it did it effectively. It’s a serious piece of equipment for tackling tough odors, not some little air freshener. For stubborn smells in a decent-sized space, this machine delivered for me.

First impression is solid. It works fast and generates a fair amount of ozone. Easy to use. Good value. Cleaned the French fry smell out of my truck. You know how the kids spill stuff in your truck and then it stays in there for six months. That’s why my truck smells like fries. I cleaned them out but it still smelled. Smells no more after just 10 minutes. I’m sure I could have gotten the same effect with just 3 minutes since the volume is so much less than a room.

We recently got a cat and the room we put the litter box in smelled really, really bad. I also have a teenage boy whose room didn't smell quite as bad but definitely had an odor. I ran this for 20 minutes in the boys room and 30 in the cats and it did a really good job at removing the odor. It does leave another odor that hopefully will fade over time, but it's more of a neutral smell. The build quality is good and it is super easy to use. Some of the instructions are contradictory in terms of the available settings vs. what is recommended, but the simple one-use timer worked well.NOTE THAT OZONE IS TOXIC SO USE CAREFULLY!!! Never use in an occupied room and I would recommend letting the room air out for 4+ hours, much longer than is recommended in the manual. I found a number of number of references online that state that ozone has a half-life of ~30 minutes indoors, so after 4 hours less than 1% of the initial ozone is left but after 1 hr, 25% is still left, so the manuals recommendation is really insufficient. Use appropriately and with care.

This is a nice thing to have on hand if you have pets or kids. Pets and kids are the two most smell generating things on earth and I have both! This does a good job removing the smells out of the car and house, but I wouldn’t say it eliminates them. It’s easy to use and it works fast. The only downside to using it in the house is everyone must leave for a while so this can work and then air out. It’s easier for car use though.

The building we live in is very old and has poor insulation. During cold winters, condensation form under the carpet and soaks the padding. Our rental has this musty smell even after we clean the carpet and air out the room for two weeks. Of course, the management office isn't willing to address it so we do everything we can. So far, this small device is pulling it's weight. It does clear up the air, but I do encourage SAFETY FIRST. The company warns (and even provided warning signs for you to hang) to keep humans out of rooms while this is running.But as long as you are practicing safety this can make a difference especially in older/damaged rooms.

Bought on 6/7 used it one time and I could smell the ozone. Tried later several times but could not smell it. Took it apart to clean it but it was clean. Fan runs but no ozone. It's 9/23 now. Just had time to try it out but now it's too late to send it back. Junk.

Used in small and large rooms and even in my car when I had a smoker in it totally removed the smoke smell, in the house it refreshes the room with a great spring smell killing out the stale room pet smells, would recommend,
