It nearly destroyed my Canon 20D. CF adapter got stuck and I had to use pointed pliers to remove. I had to wiggle the card back and forth for 3-5 minutes patiently to remove it. I am crossing my fingers that it did not do permanent damage. The issue is the rails on the side are too thick and the eject button does not work correctly. Please use this at your own discretion you may end up with a camera that becomes a paper weight.

Used it on a iDX mark two and had SD card error code to pop up, and the only way to fix is to wait a couple minutes or turn the camera off and back on which in return loses all the photos

I needed a CF card for my old Nikon D200 body. Given the price per GB of CF cards vs. SDXC cards, this adapter looked like a good solution... assuming it worked. Lots of mixed reviews, and Amazon helpfully notified that this product gets returned a lot. Well, for $15, I figured it was worth a shot, and also I could return it if it didn't work out.When the adapter came, I tried with 16GB SDHC, 64GB SDXC, and 128GB SDXC cards, and all cards were recognized properly by the camera and formatted. And, it works. I tested it taking about 200 pictures of random stuff around the house and the neighborhood, and the adapter worked flawlessly.Now, my caveat. It writes at approx. 30MB per second, but reads at an infinitesimally slow speed. Weird, right, I'd have expected the opposite. But, not really an issue since I can just pop the SD card of the adapter and download pics from the card instead of using the adapter to download. By the way, this was with Lexar 1667x SDXC card that reads and writes at 265MB and 120MB, respectively.So yeah, I'm happy with the purchase. Given others' not-so-great experiences, YMMV, but it worked out for me.

Formatted easily and has worked with multiple brands of micro sd cards.For the price, Im very impressed, and this has saved me the need to pack a CF adapted for my laptop when Im on the road and I need to offload my cameras memory or do some editing.

Are use a canon camera for my professional photography. This device is amazing for I can use a CD compact storage device and at the same time. Slip it into another device to use it in my canon camera I’d give it an A+.

Quite sturdy construction and had no problem fitting a 128GB sdxc card. When I inserted the loaded adapter into my Canon 7D mk1 I got an error message but went ahead and formatted the card anyway. This must have been a generic message as it was cured by the format. Now works perfectly and shows under info as being 127 GB and will store about 2.8K raw images. No issues filling up the buffer on multi shot and writes to the card at an acceptable speed. With an sd card of 128GB being available for £16. (20/12/24) and similar size CF card being nearly a hundred pounds this represents fantastic value for money.Just remember to format the card first. Excellent!

I have an older camera that can only take a CF Card. I am also a photographer so I have my first big shoot this weekend and realized this week that NOBODY sells cf cards anymore that aren't OUTRAGEOUS in price. I ordered this and it came the next day and works amazingly! I did have to format the SD card once inside my camera but besides that I now have way more photos and the option to use easy to find sd cards rather than just a CF. If I could give 10 stars I would!
