Item is just as advertised, only problem is that all furnace covers are not the same size, this is really close to fitting but still has some very small openings on side and bottom. I installed the best I could, and its good enough.

Used this camco bug screen to cover the exhaust port on my travel trailer. Now I don’t have to worry about bugs crawling in the exhaust port and making a nest. I’ve been using the screen for a year and still looks like it did when I installed it. No rust or discoloration.

Save yourself a lot of issues if you have a camper. Save your furnace, your hot water tank, whatever it may be a lot of issues. One of the very first things that you need to do when starting to camp is to make sure you have the right things and this is one of those right things. Stink bugs beetle. Bugs wasp flies, spiders. This safeguards those areas from these things, building nest and clogging up Places that need to be vented. Had a neighbor camper not have one of these on the camper and his furnace was not working right they came out and serviced him costing him $100 to find out. It was just a collection of stink bugs that crawled in the vent. This is one of those ounce of prevention is worth 1 million

The insect screen fits my furnace (Suburban NT-16SEQ) vent perfectly on my Armadillo Backpack trailer. I bought a pack of two 2.9" circular screens (FUR200) for this.Use the provided tool to attach to the cross wire inside the spring--that makes it easier to attach the hook to the vent.

Had to do a full furnace rebuild in my travel trailer because mud dauber wasps got in and made a nest. We use our trailer a ton, camp in it about two months a year, and didn't think they would find the time to get in there. Wrong. Almost wrecked a very expensive appliance! This cover was the perfect size, was easy to install, and did not break the bank. No more problems!

These are great protection for your RV furnace vents if you are in an area where wasps find any convenient cavity to build nests. I found out the hard way what a large paper wasp nest can do to camper furnace vents if they get in and start building a nest. Not too difficult to install but you may have to take some putty tape and contrive a seal around the edge if you have an aluminum skin trailer like the one shown.
