THIS IS MY FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW after many years and thousands of dollars with Amazon vendors. Can not stress this enough. I contacted the vendor BEFORE ordering and confirmed correct. It fit, BUT not usable and manufactured. YOU CAN NOT PRE FILL before starting engine as necessary. The original oil pan has a one inch riser tube at the fill plug allowing you to add about 3 quarts of trans fluid, then close plug, start engine, cycle between D and R, then with engins running, add more until full. Without this riser tube, the fluid just runs back out and nothing can be added. Then, the VENDOR charges you a 50% restock fee for a defective part. A win win for the vendor. Avoid this brand, use original pan, replace filter and use automotive silicone for new gasket and your are good at a fraction of cost and no defective part.

Mechanic installed this and said the fit was great and the seal lip was better compared to the straight metal OE pan. ZF 6HP26

Works so far for 2003 Jaguar S type. Should have done the transmission oil change sooner but so far everything works out great. Reused the old bolts, they do not need much torque, 5-7 ft-lbs each should do the trick and everything should seal up nice. I will be doing the work again within the year as I was not able to change all the fluid out, just about 6 liters.

just like oem for my 550i. came with gasket, magnets, filter and pickup tube just like the oe. should note this does not come with replacement bolts for the pan. some pans listed here on amazon and elsewhere do. not that big of a deal for me. I just cleaned the oe bolts and reused. installed with no problems. for the price it's a great buy and quality. gave 4 stars as It did not come with the bolts.

Hey that was fun! Pumping tranny fluid into the Jag with the engine running while laying underneath it and waiting for it to get nice and hot. Hardly dangerous at all. Well, it wasn't that hard. Pan fit perfectly. Use Mercon SP for the ZF and save a bumdle over life fluid. Mercon SP is the fluid used in the Lincoln.

Having removed and replaced the pan on the ZF6HP28 many times I am no stranger to the process however, on installing this one it leaked within hours of completion dumping Redline DT4 on the deck. With no alternative, I replaced it with the old one and the leak stopped, but I did use another 6 qrts of DT4.I cannot return if for refund as its oily and used so that was a $85 education and next time I will use a genuine part.

Fantastic price and a perfect fit. I was shocked that the OEM part was plastic, but this one is a direct replacement and works great.
